Priscilla Hann Sculptor

About

Priscilla Hann was born in Shropshire, studied at Wolverhampton College of Art and The Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, U.S.A, where she won the major sculpture prize.

She is in the main an animalier sculptor, but works on a variety of other subjects.  Her pieces are true to life and she specialises in accurate portraiture of domestic animals. Her work is cast mostly in bronze and silver and other modern media.

She exhibits in London, and the U.S.A. and has pieces in private collections in Switzerland, Jersey, France , Thailand and Australia.

Design

Pieces are true to life and she specialises in accurate portraiture of domestic animals. Commissions include a life-sized pony mare and foal for the Furlong Shopping Centre in Ringwood.

Materials

Work is cast in bronze, silver as well as other materials and is mainly of horses and dogs, but she also works on a variety of other subjects. Sculpture portraits include Aldaniti, Mister Baileys, Dublin Flyer, and a one-third life sized sheep group.

Showcases

Exhibited in London and the U.S.A. and has pieces in private collections in England, Ireland, Europe, U.S.A. and Australia.
